We focus heavily on chilled production, with regular consignments of chilled airfreight and seafreight for markets in Europe, USA, Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Both vacuum packing and modified atmosphere packing are available, ensuring maximum shelf life and food safety when product arrives at its destination. Robust cartons ensure products are well protected during transit.
Southern Meats' state of the art abattoir supplies halal killed product with quality assurance to stringent EC and USDA standards. Production is supervised by AQIS - Australia Quarantine Inspection Service. Strict establishment quality control and laboratory testing procedures apply.
Lambs are killed and chilled 24 hours prior to being processed into primal cuts in hygienic temperature controlled rooms.
